Ok so i have a 2000 ranger 4x4 base that seems to big for its shoes and i have 4 brand new 34/9.5 superswampers and some white spoke 8 inch wide wheels sitting here but i havent mounted tirs on rims yet so i ws wondering how much work im in for to make them fit... shackles, torsion bars, body lift.... dont say body lift cause not alowed in maine on vehicles with abs

MINIMUM 4" suspension lift and a sawzall. You WILL need to regear your axles.

Ah poo... it looks like they will clear everything with the t-bars cranked up good n high in the front aside from hitting frame when i turn to the lock .. the fender is sitting about 8 inches from the 225s that are on it right now.. i was just hopein i could get them on there for some snow playin

It seems like this truck sitts a lot higher than all the other rangers around its a regular cab long bed with overload shock coilovers in the back i will get some pics up asap so everyone can see what im sayon

Also wondering if the 2 inch block in the rear is factory... cause the truck sits higher than my friends as i said befor it seems taller so idk.... im going to have the tires mounted next week so i can try them and see how much work im going to have to do... i have some 2 inch add shackles on hold for me at truck works comes with torsion keys also but i really dont want to put them in... shackles are easy but keys not so much

i know on my 98 (same shit different year) i had my keys cranked all the way up and NO rear aftermarket shackle, and Yes, the blocks in the rear are stock on the 4x4 base.. i ran 32x11.5 for ever no problem with stock gearing (5speed with 3.73) i had absolutely no issues at all.
Then i put on my buddies 33x12.50’s for a test fit and beach trip i noticed that i could not get full turn lock, but just barely, and i had plenty of room, NOTING that on my stock ifs up front it was like 1 1/2” up travel and 2” down travel MAX.

if i was you, seeing as body lifts are illegal for you, and that any sort of ifs lift package is 1400 green backs, look into some bushwacker cutout fender flares, they run approximately 500 and cut your fender wells and install those, youll be able to clear no problem, but seeing as you are gunna run a tall and skinny tire the worst you may end up with is some inner fender rub, ant they fit b/c you have an extra 2” of hidden clearance behind the outside sheet metal of your fender (if they can completely tuck inside)

Or look at last months 4x4 of the month (red devil) he did a fender trim and those cheap (100ish) self molding fender flares that you can buy off this site in the parts location. trim what you need and slap those on and nobody but you will know!

The 2" block is factory.

You will be fine with those tires and no lift. I have been running 34x10.5x16 on my trail truck for some time now. I have a 1995 XLT 2wd. They even fit the front and the front end on the 1993-1997 models are about 1.5" lower than the rear.

Not to mention the 4wd models are stock with more clearence than the 2wd. My truck has fine flex in the rear and just a tiny bit limited in the front but nothing that gets in the way when climbing rocks.

Its a 2wd, 2.3L with 3.73 gears and a locker. I use it to haul wood out of the woods and it has absolutely no problem rotating the tires with a load in the bed and a locker.

so i just swaped to a set of 32/9.5s at no extra charge and shackles are in keys go in tomorrow will post befor and after pics soon thanks for all the help... would like to see pics of 34s on rangers tho lifted or stock
