But uh... you sure it was a good idea to paint it without taping off the exhaust outlets?

It didn't go very far into them. And I did decide next time I will tape them off. It is my first engine paint job.

I had manifolds stuck on loosly so it didn't really go that far in there. That was a flawed plan though because no matter which way they are on they are still in the way. And since they were not really tight so I could flip them over it snuck in around them.

Next time (hopefully long in the future) I will tape them off.

what i got my ranger for christmas is a parking spot in the backyard for the winter. i beat on her to much last weekend wheeling in the snow so i thought id be nice an give her a break for the winter. but when spring rolls around shes getting lockers an fiber werx fenders an bedsides

Well I didn't get everything during christmas but I'll probably end up getting it on during break.

Hooked up my amp and removed the sub.
Took out every interior panel and scrubbed it with soap and water till it was clean.
Another wash and wax, shampoo the carpet and seats, touch up any places that need under coating.... and the list goes on.

Oh and Finding a parts truck so my dad and I can swap in a 4.0L into the old 84 and start restoring it!

For the Superduty I've bought manifold studs for the D/S and I have to buy yet the D/S wheel bearings. It also got a brand new motorcraft 850cca battery for Christmas. $500+ right there. I wish someone would be as good to me.
