What did your truck get for Christmas?

they look well suited to be stuffed behind the seat with the jumper cables and tow rope. not something to do any serious work with

I brushed the 5 inches of snow off mine and took her for a spin around the neighborhood.

i got this from the g/f's folks, pretty nifty. i saw a comercial for em and wondered how well they will hold up. well ill get to test it out and see. and the best part is its craftsman so if it breaks i get a replacement. get to use it when i have to pull the a4ld for good. sizes 12mm-19mm

I keep a Torson just like that in the toolbox when I go on tractor rides. Never used it but I figure it might come in handy.

After opening presants, I did get a drop in replacement K&N filter for my F-150. :D

i test fitted it behind the motor to see if i could take the bellhousing bolts out and its alot easier with the extra leverage then my 13mm wrench. will put it through its paces this week when i swap the trans out. sucks that it dont go from 10mm-19mm i could take my whole truck apart with it

also got a free m5od, too dark to take pics. also got some jets, carb bowl gasket, and a nightlight for my son from summit. also got the matching christmas tree lights

I got another engine, another offroad light ( already had one) and a wiring harness.......oh yea, and like 200 craftsman tools

I got a bedliner kit and tons of giftcards to Advance Auto and Amazon.com (yeah they have Ranger parts and tools!)

So now what do I buy?...Body lift? Ramps? Tools? Aftermarket Mechanical Gauges?

my b2 gets something every 2 weeks already, xmas is nothing special to him

This thread is a yr old but it was brought back to life.

So the '88 project is on a winter hold except for some interior prep work when it's not too chilly out as this is where we have to work for now.

I got a couple of those (the metric and SAE) for my dad for Fathers day... Best wrenches he ever had he said. His only complaint is that they didn't go down to 10mm.

And then my aunt got us some of the Black and decker ones that are both SAE/Metric and they ratchet! :icon_thumby:

a used tire. woke up christmas morning to find the truck sitting at a wierd angle, l.r. tire was flat, a little while later noticed the neighbor across fom me had 2 flats on their car and the r.r. tire flat on their van. found knife marks on further investigation. a while later a sheriff deputy was through and took statements. gues about 50 tires in all were cut, very random. local tire shop sold me a good used casing, mounted and balanced for $25.00 not as good as the tire i lost but better than the undersized 16 y/o spare that was in the bed. they didnt touch my wifes S10 blazer, which has horrible tires that need replaced. im still pissed about it all. -->http://www.marionstar.com/article/2.../Vandals-strike-trailer-park-on-Christmas-Eve it was more than 5 of us, only 5 of us were home, theres still about 6 vehicles sitting around where people are still out of town and dont know they have a surprize to come home to. i should have saved my pierced tire and hung it on one of the "nieborhood watch" signs, or wrote on it "you didnt watch this" and leave it outside the office door up front at the trailer park.

Better late than never.

Sadly, my truck gave ME a blown clutch. at 171,000 miles, it finally gave up the ghost.
