I got a few hints disguised as presents...
A new electric razor that is waterproof...I stink and need a shave...so I can cover those two...
A Toronto Maple Leaf calendar...every year I get a Maple Leaf calendar and by the end of the year all the players have been traded, retired, or are playing so badly I rip that month off at some point and use it as a backdrop for my toilet lid.
I also go a Maple Leaf Christmas decoration that has some foul smelling goop in the middle. Turned out to be "gummy pucks" that I hope taste better than they smell.
Oh, and someone gave me $50 which will come in handy...
I am also eating leftover turkey from Thanksgiving that I froze...that will be the best part and I can do it with pictures of my family on Facebook sitting around their collective tables enjoying the flu season together in health...and in sickness...which usually follows a few days later.
On a high note...I have been able to almost eliminate my daily drug dose and am relatively pain free in spite of all the dire warnings from doctors, drug companies, and well meaning people who really should take up needlepoint or some other activity and stop giving advice to drug addicts trying to quit.
Oh, I watched two hours of George Carlin so my sarcasm is razor sharp today...
