We had to take off last night at 11pm to go tow the 03 wrangler home from refugio, a bit over an hour drive at normal speeds.

The u-joint straps and bolts were missing and the u-joint caps had evacuated somewhere after the jeep's shaking started

So we drove up and had to tow strap it home. Got home at 3am because we towed at 40mph tops and usually 35mph.

And my phone flew out of the truck right when we left and I found it the next morning in 7 or 8 pieces on the side of the highway. So I have a new phone now

First evening I've been able to spend in my shop since like last Friday... took it easy and worked on the loader valve I bought for my tractor a couple weeks ago, annoyingly the threads are BSP on the dumb thing but it was $75 so pretty much disposable in loader valve land... so I was going to run a tap down the ones close to 1/2" NPT and 3/8" NPT but the tap bottomed out on the ones close to 1/2" as is so they're fine, the smaller ones I ran a tap down... I'd acquired some steel bushings to get to 3/8" NPT and 1/4" NPT since that's what my hoses are so I drove those in with some pipe dope. I'm 99% sure this will work fine and leak less than what I have now...

The other day I ordered a slew of belts for spares for the riding mower and the tractor finish mower along with a pack of idlers for that guy too so soon I'll put a new belt on that and some new idlers. Tomorrow night I hope to put some of the tools away from the Camry project but I have to clean them up first, wasn't in the mood tonight...

Mine has an E-series shift stub and a custom bent up shifter out of 5/8” rebar, lol. Kinda would like to do the same thing to the ZF5 in my F-350

I dont like to brag but back in my younger days i could shift those old 4speed granny boxes faster then alot of guys could shift their mustangs.

Damnit...youre making me want another one lol. How can i adapt a T18 to a 2.9?

That might work for a lima. Maybe a 3.0. 2.9s got way to much torque for that
