at the front & rear the floor lays on a horizontal sill, spot welded.
the sides have about 1 inch turned down that mates to the inner fender. again spot welded but mine were rusted
beyond recognition.
only 1 cross brace extends beyond the bed floor, it widens out and is welded to the inner fender.
basically the floor can be separated by drilling a bunch of spot welds.
the front & rear while it's right side up. the side seams are easier when removed and up-side-down.
I removed the fenders last year, but they could stay attached when you remove the floor.
all the fenders, front wall, and rear sill can remain intact when the bed floor is removed.

The canoe sold today, guy drove from pennsylvania to get it, while I was waiting I adjusted the alignment on the tractor, was a bit toed out after replacing the radius arms. At work there was some crop dusting going on at lunch. That would be a fun job.

.... There's grass in texas? Sorry to sound like such a damn Yankee but yeah.. whenever Texas rolls through my brain I pretty much just think of tumbleweeds and cactus lol.

I live in the plains part of texas but also on coast, like .5 miles from the bay. So we dont get great grass, just beach weed type grass that grows to be 4 feet tall in about 3 weeks if you dont cut it.

But west texas is the part everyone thinks of from tv. Thats the cowboys and indian part of texas. South texas is plains with scrub brush, wind blown oak trees, and lots of brown. North texas is just like oklahoma and east texas is like georgia, alabama, the carolinas, etc. Its all pine trees, lakes, and hills

Bobby just simply knows too much about everything.. pretty sure he's got a cute dog too possibly?

Gump has a cute dog.. and traded me a sweet mag lite years back so I can reminisce about my late father and his maglite obsession..

Lil work truck has the right motor..

85 doesn't have dogs I don't think.. but he (or rather the missus does) has a 2.3 AND he likes die-casts so he's out..

Racsan has historically been a 2.3 guy so he's ok...

Alwaysfloored is Canadian... They're all too polite to be considered an enemy.. even if it's only a frenemy.. AND he's got a race truck too so that's bonus points.. although his countries bacon is really a poor excuse for bacon

Scott has 2.3 right in his name so..

I'm running out of people off the top of my head now lol... Too tired...

It stopped raining long enough for the grass to be dry enough to cut. So I did that and ran the string trimmer. I found a couple weed stumps from last years over growth in the garden. It took some work the unearth enough of the roots to pull them out. Hopefully, I got enough of the roots that they won't come back. Creeping vine has been a problem as well. I don't know it I'll ever get rid of of that.

Anyway, after the yard and garden work, I did some more work on the trailer.

Just so we are on the same page, I do have a parts truck with a 2.3 and my boat has a 2.3, lol. Think they called it like an Onan 2.3 but when you lift the engine hatch the valve cover says Ford, lol. All original 17’ Bayliner open bow I/O
