What did YOU do today?

I packed my stuff and loaded a bunch of the wife's junk in the truck. We should be in atlanta tomorrow night. Probably late, 1130 or so, but thats how it always is on this drive.

Googly says 15.7 hours but i think it doesnt count gas/food and restroom breaks

Thats our pit stop on the way to jacksonville nc. Then the next day we get there around 3 and can relax before dinner

Thats a great starter recumbent. Its an aluminum one or a steel frame? Looks like steel, which is perfect to learn on and absorbs shock really well.

If your butt starts going numb on mid to long rides, lesn the seat back a little farther back. Its to upright if you start having that issur
Thanks for the hints. Once I get better at riding it, I'll lean it back. I had read that a more upright position is more stable and easier to learn. That seems to be true. With the seat upright, I didn't fall at all yesterday. I don't have a lot of stamina, yet and found that I can't pedal up much of a hill, yet, either. It shows just how much damage my heart actually took. The short wheelbase makes it feel weird and in low speed turns where you actually have to turn the front wheel, I have to keep my heels from hitting the tire. That little event will distract a beginner and put him on the ground.

This model (Sun Speedster) came in 3 levels. SX - steel frame, lower level. CX - Chrome Molly frame, mid level. And AX - Aluminum Frame, the upper level. I got the AX. Originally sold for $1600. I got this for $190 and it seems to be in excellent condition. It's a higher grade than I will ever "need". But I have an appreciation for the quality of its components. Shifting is smooth and positive, it's quiet, disk brakes, etc. Only weighs about 36 lbs. And the seller was only about 8 miles away.
