Windows and door sweeps for the shop finally showed up today. Still have a couple odds and ends to round up for that and I have to figure out how exactly I’m installing the windows and exhaust fan into the A-panels. Those things are flush mount and an A-panel is not. It doesn’t have to be super nice, if it did I would have bought more appropriate stuff instead of about the cheapest I could get my hands on. I’m already way over budget on this project and I’ve spent way more time on it than I had expected.
So once the weather moderates a little and I finish rounding up what I need, the shop is getting finished. Well, assuming I can coax my little welder to work. It’s had an intermittent issue with the trigger that’s now become almost constantly a problem. I’m pretty sure the issue is in how the trigger functions because if I short the wires together with pliers, it feeds. Part of me wishes they would have used clear plastic instead of black so I could see what the heck is going on. Everything in there looks fine and pretty much where it should be. Jumping the wires feeds and that’s what the trigger should do. But it’s not. Bout to wire a dang foot pedal to it so I stop wasting time fighting with it. It’s a Lincoln Weldpack, older one.
