What did YOU do today?

I got the second drawer planed and sanded. Today, I'll work on making dividers, after cutting the grass.

I spent the afternoon drawing. Started with sketch paper and then moved on to CAD. Today I’ll probably finish the CAD and hopefully get started on the cutting of bumper pieces… I need to make two…

Mower tire was flat again this morning, went to town with the wife earlier and ended up at HFT to try to find patches which I think are discontinued... ended up with a couple clearance air tool restrictors. Once I got back I pulled the mower tire to find the patch I did yesterday didn't work at all so when I went to get a rag from the rag box I of course found my box of tire patches... then I cleaned off the goo from the junk patch and put on a good one and it's held for a few hours now.

I got the drawer dividers done yesterday. So, I'll get the gear out of the shed today so I can set the spacing. Especially for the middle one that will prevent the sides from bowing for temperature and humidity changes. That one needs to be glued and screwed in place but I can't do that until the gear is placed and organized in the drawers.

Gonna wash at least one of my trucks today. Haven't made up my mind which one yet. Gonna ponder this over my coffee.

Finished putting new shingles on the left side of the yard barn. Bought two sheets of OSB and replaced the old rotted sheathing on the right side where the leak was. Also bought one bundle of shingles which should be enough to finish the roof. We had a new roof put on the house last fall and the roofers left three bundles of shingles and some sections of ridge vent so I'll use that stuff up. Taking the day off work tomorrow so I plan to finish it up.

Ended up washing my 2008 Sport Trac Adrenalin

Well it was more like the whole weekend. I get off around lunch on Fridays. So I was cutting the yard when my lawnmower threw the drive belt. Jumped on Amazon and ordered a new one. Well changing the belt was an ordeal in itself. During that I realized that 1 of the bolts on the driver's side trans mount was missing. This caused it to break the other side. Luckily local lawnmower shop had the brace. Ran down Saturday and got it all back together to find that it broke the little lever off that engages the transmission. Well pulled it all back apart rigged a little handle on it and got it to engage. Now it making a horrible grinding noise. No matter where I position the little handle. Maybe a stick welder wasn't the best solution for the repair haha. Either way new trans/rear drive should be here tomorrow. Fingers crossed I can get it going. Corey will not be happy if I can't get the yard cut before the Vagabonds trip haha

The dividers are in place and the gear was sorted so that it all fit. I removed all the gear again so I can pull the drawers to glue and screw the permanent divider in place and so I can start working on installing the deck that the refrigerator and vertical braces/dividers will go to hold the camping equipment that is too big for the drawers. I need to order some L track as well for the rest of the stuff that I can't use the bed tie downs to hold them in place. But I can't do that until I have solid measurements to get the right length of track.
