I went to do the front brakes on mom’s Murano only to find the calipers on the thing are two piston and extremely likely to be original (mom is the second owner but this thing has only like 40-60k on it) and the calipers I got are single piston. Called the parts store and they had to go to a year newer and the convertible top version to find two piston calipers. Everything else appears to be correct, but the calipers have to come from the hub store, which means they won’t be at the local store until around 1pm tomorrow and if I want them then, I’ll have to run up to the store, or I wait till Monday and have them delivered. Argh. Probably fetching them tomorrow, I got a lot of other stuff to deal with right now.
Also adjusted the green Ranger headlights a little higher (way too low), and drained the water from the cooling system in the Choptop and filled it with coolant. Unloaded the green Ranger bed where I had all my grilling stuff from last night. Apparently I have a few nearly empty tanks sitting around, gonna have to do something about that soon. Two are going to have to be exchanged, but I think the other three are good to refill. I’ve been kicking around the idea of trying to run a few batches of beer again and if I do, I’m gonna need all of those tanks full. If I remember correctly, a batch of beer requires around half a 20# propane cylinder, possibly a little more.
