What did YOU do today?

I’ve got one I don’t need any more. 5x4.5 lug pattern. But that could be changed pretty easy. Pictures somewhere in my build thread.
That would be awesome. If you have room in the truck when you pack up I could grab it from you at LBL. I saw someone was bringing a welder haha. I'm excited to watch whatever is happening with it at camp haha I could just work on the plate to mount the tire. I really wanna move my spare out from under the truck.

Spent Sunday redoing the waste drain pipes for my mothers bathroom.
I hate pvc.

This morning I went to do some pipe fitting on the copper water lines and pipe torch was gummed up from sitting so long. I decided to give up.

Got it out of the shed of miracles.

After a 6hr shift at work, I came home and....

Finished fabricating brackets for the driver side headlight and turn signal on the Ranger

Showed the F150 to 2 potential buyers and accepted an offer and retainer from one of them. Deal to be completed tomorrow.

Mowed the lawn.

Got the trailer winch out of the shed and put it on the trailer.

Pulled the trailer out of the yard in preparation for the trip to LBL. Also found out the brake controller is not "seeing" that the trailer brakes are connected.

Mowed where the trailer had been

Dug an old spare tire carrier out of the shed for RobertMangrum.

Watered the carnivorous plants bog.

Emptied and refilled the containers I am making ice blocks in for the trip.

Started cooking dinner

Got out the wiring diagram book so I can troubleshoot the trailer brake issue on the F250.

It's only 7:10. I might get something else done tonight.

I have my own shed of miracles.

Not until Rick W talked about his. You either raided his or stole the name. @Rick W is that name trade marked or copy righted? You may have some money coming your way.

went yard saleing, got more stuff for the chicken house. 2 flourescent light fixtures, extension cord, small fan. I few weeks back I got a ceiling fan with lights for $10 but it doesn’t look like it will work, might go in garage. Put up feed room partition wall sheeting & started on the nest boxes. Its been a busy weekend.

I think you have been busy today. But I was left hanging at dinner haha. So what did you cook? Fat boy curiosity haha

Simple and easy. Hot dogs and French fries with carrots and celery sticks.

... and got stiff and tired while sitting down to eat. All meaningful progress for the day has stopped. I'll get an early start tomorrow. Hopefully going to lose some work time when I take truck money to the bank and turn in the license plate at DMV and go to Northern to get a hydraulic jack to carry in the F250.

I have several 12 ton hydraulic bottle jacks laying around new in the box at work. Your more than welcome to have 1. I've got a couple here at the house. They come in the busses but we pull them out. No tour bus driver gonna change his own tire haha

Well it was aftermidnight yesterday, so technically today. Got back to doing a few things on the old F-100. Got a power window kit for it over a year ago. Finally got the switch controls mounted up on the door panel. Started working up the harness and needed parts I couldn't get today due to labor day store closings. Got them ordered and bought some grommets for running the wires into the doors.

Then I finally got out around noon and got to try out the new rifle I boughbt a few weeks ago. Bought the AR-10 from Palmetto State Armory in 308 Winchester. Got set up with scope and a decent trigger, the thing shoots great. I forgot my good ammo at the house, but dad had some Lake City Arsenal Match 7.62 from 1966 that someone gave him ages ago. I only got it on paper out to about 75 yards because I didn't have the good ammo or a good shooting platform, but groups were great considering.

After that I just enjoyed the rest of the day off before I have to go back to work tomorrow.

I'll trade a spare tire carrier for one.

After several hours of cussing at several design choices on V8 explorers from the factory (the big square connector 6" from the ECM, EGR valve placement and angles, having to do 4 things at once to get the upper intake manifold bolted on while not screwing up the gasket, etc...) I got the Explorer together. I got like 3 miles from the house when I found out I forgot to tighten the power steering pump pulley bolts like I meant to after I got the belt on... I lost one bolt and the belt fell off toward the pump, had the wife bring me tools and I drove it home... pulled a spare bolt from the Mountaineer in the back :).

All in all it runs pretty good, the computer doesn't know what to do with the idle but it always runs bad when the battery is disconnected, will probably drive it to work tomorrow...
