Those little AMP boards interest me. It's hard to believe the 120W+120W claim when a normal 400W 4 channel amplifier dwarfs those boards. I'm sure that it would get loud enough for me even if it doesn't live up to it's claims.
I've thought about getting a couple of those with the bluetooth modules to try and play around with building DIY portable speakers. You know the ammo can speakers that are so popular. Then I realized it was too convenient to just go buy a portable speaker. Less than $60 on Amazon prime day got me a pair of 30W linkable speaker with more battery life than I need (can charge phone and listen), more volume than I normally want, and in a package smaller than I could easily build. I couldn't buy the parts for an ammo can speaker at that price.
I know it's not the same thing you're using this board for, and I still haven't dismissed the idea using one to put a hidden audio system in the old F-100.
I have never done one personally, but guys working for me have done them in some of our projects.
I know about the four watt/12 watt for the broadcast side of the CB, but I think the speaker output is 10 W max. I have some 50 want loud speakers, plus these things I got yesterday, and for $10 I figured it was cheap enough to play around with even if I burned it up.
I’m planning on a car stereo and cb on the ‘Raith casket kitchen, mostly interested in amplifying the PA speaker so I can announce when your burger is ready.
Don’t try to understand. It makes just as much sense as the overall project in the first place!
