What did YOU do today?

Cleaned the gutters out. Removed a fair sized maple sampling that was thriving on the dead and decaying leaves of its parents...

" Next I will simply try twisting two lengths of coat hanger to the head. "

Not a good idea. I thought of the same thing but after a bit of research realized that long pointed objects coming loose at high speeds can leave you looking like a porcupine got you. There are pictures on the web if you care to do your own research. Apparently the metal will weaken after a number of hits on objects and eventually will break off.
Thing is, I have a lot of fence around my back yard since we have a greyhound and you can't tie them out or put them on a run. If they see something, their DNA tells them to chase it and they accelerate hard enough that if they hit the end of a chain or run they can break their neck.

And if he doesn't see anything, he sleeps. Trevor is awesome.

True, greyhounds operate kind of like a light switch. Either 100 mph or asleep, there's not much in between.

Hmmmmm….

That brings me back to the whole wife thing again…

I'm guessing chain link. Get some 1x6 and attach that to the inside bottom of the fence. If you have access to an air stapler ( 1/4", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2" galvanised or stainless staples) it will go quick.

No, wood shadow box, 6' high. We didn't like the look of chain link and like the privacy for our dog(s), plus a greyhound can jump a 4' fence no problem and a 6' chain link is hella expensive.

Have you tried thicker string? I hand load my machine, but it's probably quite a bit bigger than normal.

Greyhounds are hilarious. We did a plumbing test at a house that would foster old racing dogs and those dogs loved to pick up pliers or wrenches and run away to try and get you to chase them. They love to play
