What did YOU do today?

Ive done next to nothing. Friday I got my escape back to driveable, yesterday I went & picked up 6 bags of softner salt. Its been raining off & on constantly since friday afternoon. Still raining now. Chickens love it in the evening when I let them out to roam, the worms must be all be coming to the surface for air. I was going to drive around to the back of the house & unload the salt but it might need to wait-until june.

Yesterday was a Tool Bash at the local fire department. We didn’t win anything but had fun. Unfortunately I got to go in behind the Township Supervisor that’s up for election this year. Apparently he didn’t stick around long after he got his plate of food from what I hear though, which I was fine with. I did get to talk a bit with the guy running against the current supervisor though.

Also picked up struts for Lisa’s car. So I get to put those on in the near future.

Oh yeah, I bought a set of struts (all 4 corners, the back ones are DONE) for the wife's Camry, she's starting to talk about getting a new car to save me "stress", sure I don't have time but I can find time to replace struts, I just forget...

My wife needs to trade up too. She complained the other day that her A/C wasn't blowing cold. I have to check that out today.

I'm not gonna put good money into it... she needs an upgrade.

After being bummed out by yesterdays cancelled dragstrip action.. I woke up all bright eyed and bushy tailed to at least get a good amount of stuff done to the ranger today..

Got 4 welds done and ran out of gas

That's Murphy's Law #2001... if you're going to run out of welding gas, it'll definitely be on a Sunday.

I don't know anything about trading up/Down/in/out wife's.

I've told my brother this a few times now I'll say it here for everyone else.

I don't believe I've ever truly been in love because I've never been stupid enough to let the government get involved in my relationship at the same time I stood up in front of all of my friends and family and her friends and family and told her I loved her.

In other words in my opinion marriage is for dummies.

Not to correct you, but here in the in the welding majors we call that b*tthole a "rosette weld".

I cut some panels for the inside of the doors on my mini camper, probably going to lay out and cut the two other window openings this week if we get a long enough stretch of weather with no rain, the camper doesn't fit in the garage unfortunately.

I've gotta order some of those for my girlfriend's explorer, they're pretty junk. But 170k miles will do that.
