What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

...
I know you guys are into more horsepower and climbing over boulders, but down here in Atlanta, AC that works is the way to go. I’m not sure Lincoln agrees, he likes barking out the windows.

Around here, there are a lot of people who like barking out the windows too...

11:30 the night before the car show where my class can't even win anything... and here I sit cleaning my steering wheel.

I’m not sure of the rules in your car show, but maybe you should try cleaning the side of the steering wheel that faces out

I did the front, started on the rear and decided it was worth two screws and a nut to just pull the wheel.

its 445 and i am hacking on the cab of the ranger....she is rough.

instead of cruising woodward..... going to a birthday and think i will try to get bob to go....he dont want to because they took all the fun out....i am shocked i am not there....its rainy though.

hopefully ranger will be patched up enough to get by a few more minutes.....again.

i will just pop a cab on so i can take time on this one

I placed an order for Rough Country 1.5-2" front leveling springs and shocks. I will get those installed next weekend since I have an appointment for an alignment with a guy in town who knows TTB trucks very well.

Wow. That really makes me appreciate what I have. I admire your loyalty to that truck.

Got the front brakes all ready for the new rotors and pads. Then spent most of the day trying to get the rear drums off (still unsuccessfully at this point)

Wow! E6000 AND Rustoleum. Maybe some duct tape

Replaced a wobbly PS tie rod end, set toe in with the laser. 80% done with centering the steering wheel, will get the last smidgeon tomorrow.

You must be getting great gas mileage after all the weight reduction you have...

Changed the oil in the '97, had the first oil filter issue that I've ran into personally... the O ring fell off, didn't feel right when I tightened the filter down so I was cautious and observed the startup and no oil pressure and it was leaking... annoyingly by the time I figured out the issue I'd wasted 3.5 quarts of oil apparently but I still had the pan under the filter...

loyalty......

i have not touched the floor in 12 years and only boogered anything or the pillars after they broke and the door wouldnt stay closed......it has needed floors and stanchions for at least 6 years...and i think my new wiring harness has been in the box for 6 years as well out there somewhere....

this thing treats me way better then i deserve.... with friends like me who needs enemies:woot:

hell i banned the grand children from riding in it 3 years ago i think.....

hell....thinking about it... i should go punch myself in the berries....

If you turn a corner fast enough, that cab will just fall off. Then you can simply install a new one.
