What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

You remembered to loosen the cam sprocket bolts and check the diamond washers... right?:sneaky:

Funny, I actually sat down and started reading through the section in my shop manual about doing the crank and cams so I could replace the timing cover seal. By... I guess the 40th page I threw the book on the ground and ate a fudge pop and agreed to never think of it again.

Good idea.

Fudge poop? That's nasty.

Monday, took it on a long drive and put a few highway miles on it at 70mph and found I have a growling vibration when I reach that speed. I suspect a bearing but not which one at this point.

Today it reliably started and as I was pulling out of the driveway I found the pisser fluid was empty so it got filled and it got me out to the lake to fish. Because Ma. Is starting to open back up my fishing spot is almost empty again on Wednesday.

Truck is in need of a bath. The lyme quarry is murder on it with the dust factor. I got brown spots on my grill from the dew forming collecting the dust then drying leaving brown and depending on when the last time they blasted white spots.

Maybe on the way home ill give it a good body scrubbing.

That might make a good calendar photo.

It was 85 here today!! Whats wrong with having a delicious frozen treat after not caring about something?
I thought you pooped in the furnace, not the freezer.

Does this mean your going to "poop a pop or pop a poop " ?

@ericbphoto I have a bunch of photos and plan on have kids mom take professional photos this year and submit them for you to choose and use

And its apart again... something didn't seem right after a drive and the idle was a little high. Uplugged the IAC valve and nothing changed. UGH vacuum leak!

Did a quick check that everything was tight but nothing seemed wrong so out came the smoke machine. Smoke came right from the back of the intake in an impossible place to work on so the maifold had to come back off.

Only thing there is the weird heated pcv valve nipple which was quite loose and the oring is basically flat so 99% sure thats the culprit.

I hate loose nipples.

Dirtman needs his nipples tightened.
