What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Ok. There is a 4r44 sitting in my garage that could be freed from it's tailhousing.

Can you measure it? Should be the same? I'll buy it off you if it's the same length. Dunno what they are worth. 30 bucks sound fair? :dunno:

Took the cap off and put the vinyl tonneau on for the summer. I could tell I haven't been to the gym in 6 months.

Tonneau covers for those who have bed caps are quitters.

That usually hurts.. I’d recommend you try not to do that again.

ordered new rear billsteins from Rock Auto. when they get here I will have a full set. then to pick some time to change out the original 23 year old 193k mile shocks... time to get the torch out

Fired it up, took it to refill the bottom of the fridge with beer and while drinking said beer, like now, I'm putting together a cart full of parts for it. I just need to go out and look to see if there are 6 body mounts on the Supercab or 8. Sadly I wont be ordering them from Rock Auto also because they don't have them so Summit here I come. I'll look tomorrow about the mounts and take a good look a the rubber steering shaft joints to see if I need to order those also. BTW what is that removable section of shaft called?

Debating ordering a new A/C compressor and collector/seal kit since my pump was knocking last year and is leaking behind the pulley or just say to heck with A/C for this year... most likely will regret it if I put it off though.

The order will most likely be sent in to all party's tomorrow afternoon... need rear drums because I ordered a set of 9" drums the last time. It's so out of round that when the shoes get sticky I get one wheel locking up when going 5-10 mph down my hill not to mention the shoes got soaked in brake fluid from when the brake cylinders were shot when I bought it. It's time for a full rear brake job.

Found some crusty's on the lower tailgate seam so also kicking around the feasibility of getting a new gate and painting to eliminate the rust on my nice rust free body, except this mentioned spot.
