What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Got timing done, Trans has fluid in it, changed the oil, cut 3 inches out of my drive shaft and tigged it back together, made a mock up drive shaft 55 1/4 long so I can move it under its own power, Still have to get one made. Bled the clutch, I will need a support bracket so the slave bracket doesn't flex. I still have a manifold or collecter leak also need to put the interior in, and adjust the springs in the top of the shifter. Also I think one of my accessory brackets is clunking, must be a loose bolt, you can see the tensioner jump and then it makes the clunk. But closer than I was last weekend.

I did truck stuff. Dont look like much but its all heavy ass elm. Bounced it through soft sod out the side of a corn field, oh and jumped the S10 in the foreground about 8 times....

Just kicked the tires on mine to see if any mice bailed out. Hope to go for a brief Sunday drive tomorrow.

I washed the corona cooties off mine.

This would make a very good picture for the Calendar.

I put the 2011 to work today. Did the BS stand in line thing at the The Home Depot to get some 2X4X8 pressure treated lumber for some new firewood racks.

i feel for ya....we had some silly rabbit trix is for kids horsehockey going on back in detroit....

dont even get me started....:annoyed:

its one of the big reasons i went to the deal in lansing...

Installed my OHC and did the covid cruise night for the first time in the Ranger. Wife's Edge had to be a buzzkill and pick up a nail in the tire.

I got one of the Billstein shocks today... have 3 of the four, and waiting on the last one which should be here by May 5th

checked the air in the tires, explained what shocks were to my 9 year old. If I have time tomorrow, I will actually wash and wax it.

I tried to go there yesterday... and the day before. Looked like the ladies bathroom line at a rock concert... except with masks. I'm not waiting in line that long. I'm headed there early this morning to beat the crowd... hopefully.

I went to lowes then right back home, Im not standing in a line to get into a store either. moved stuff out of the way so I could get to my 3-point disc and put it together (moved a year ago and was best way to move it) as a result my aluminum cap wound up on the truck, it was overtop all the disc gangs and had the boat on top of it. Maybe I’ll go get the boat wet today.

I needed to get 2X4X8 pressure treated lumber to make new firewood racks. The car port can't come down until the racks are built and the wood is moved. Of course, I have to wait for my back to stop complaining before I do that. I'm not sure if it was the loading and unloading of wood or the multitude of other projects I did yesterday that did it (it could be a combination of all of them). All I know is the heating pad is my friend today.
