What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Now if I could do something about those the side mirrors, has anyone used tinting on them, successfully?
There are auto dimming side mirrors. I don't know what donor vehicles would work. The rearview mirror i used in one of my trucks had an output signal to control side mirrors. So the wiring wouldn’t be difficult.

Has anyone ever found a set of side mirrors that shoot curare darts? Seems much more of a useful feature than auto dimming.

Just stick your head out the window and shout BOOOOPP!!! It will give you practice.

Auto darkening mirrors! I do need a set of those...got some info please?..

I just installed a bed cap. No need for a mirror dimmer then. Manual or otherwise. The tint on the cap's rear hatch takes care of that for you.

My topper doesn’t have tint like a newer oneand the topper isn’t always on it.

It started out if the mirror has it I might as well make it work. And then it ended up since I have it wired up I might as well get a mirror that works. They are $4 from the yard so not a big expense.

I just have the stock western low mount breakaway side mirrors, thy don’t dim or really do much of anything on their own.

A mirror that big will CAUSE blind spots to the front left corner.
They actually rotate to a horizontal position and become "wings, like an airfoil, creating lift",,,,,takes sprung weight off vehicle, making it "lighter" and saving gas....;missingteeth;

well heck, if they rotate horizontal make 'em flap

If you make em flap, might end up taking off...that could end up requiring a pilot's license.
Many people out there can barely drive...think of what would happen if they could now fly !!! :icon_surprised:
