If the exhaust is dumping under the bed, the loudness increases a lot.

Rerouting it to dump, just in front of the rear tire reduces the noise but still increases it over stock.

To each their own. I like mine quiet. As long as the person in question isn’t waking up the neighborhood early the the morning, I don’t care.

Assuming you drove The Aluminum Falcon, and @Mrs. Eighty Five drove "Rocko", I can only imagine "jr" sitting on a phone book with wooden blocks strapped to the pedals of the Wart Hog.

In this thread or another. He and the Mrs drove one of the vehicles back for it. Apparently, they aren’t/weren’t that far from home.

I unloaded 1/2 the truck tonight & did the mulch with concrete surround around the 7 maples lining the driveway. Its no longer dragging the mudflaps on the pavement. Handling should be better on tomorrow’s drive to work, its been awful the last 2 days with all the weight thats been in the back. I still have 12 bags of river rock & 7 bags of mulch. Those concrete peices were the real weight makers, 2” wide , 4” tall , 12” long. Not sure what they weighed each but I had about 45 of them and they were at the very back increasing the leverage.

Why do you have to pull the axles? E-brake stuff is external.

What, exactly, broke?

Oh, wait. I see you have a 2011. I'm not as familiar with the disc brake rear axle e-brake assemblies.

so in my 02 edge, I sitched, cleaned, install fx4 lvl 2 red seats in(bucket) installed the mini floor console, I had a set of Firestone Destination LE3(235/75/15) installed on a cleaner set of alloy split spoke wheels, I fixed my cruise control buttons with new ones, I replaced my oil, filter, and air filter, and battery, T bar lifted the front of my truck by about an inch and ahalf, oh, and I got some Ranger seatbelt pads I put on.

Sprayed the MAP to see if it would help with the goofy idle problems I've been having, then drove it to fill up with $5.34 a gallon gas. The end result of all this is I still have idle problems and now I have a $66 hole in my wallet.

I think I'm going to check the spark plugs. Maybe replace them and the wires to see if bad spark is causing this problem. Here's something odd that I noticed when pricing spark plugs earlier. The original plugs were ITR5F13 plugs. They were worn, but I could tell the original gap was about .050, and that is what NGK states the spec is for that plug. The manual states the gap should be .049-.054. The replacements are pre=gapped at .044 and state they can't be gapped. This goes for the Motorcraft plugs too. Does anyone know what is going on with this discrepancy?

Plenty of "pre-gapped" spark plugs are actually out of spec new in the box because of sloppy handling during shipping and stocking at stores, so they have to be re-gapped. Any conventional plug can be re-gapped. You just need the correct tool and some care. Use the type of tool that has a hole the end of the ground electrode can fit into, so you can use leverage to gently bend the electrode by hand without touching any iridium or platinum tip on it. Do not use a tool designed to put pressure on those tips.

I checked the gap on the Denso plugs that went into my Ranger last year. Most of them were close, but I made sure all were set at the low end of the specified range, to allow for the gap to get larger over time but still stay in the range. These plugs have small platinum-iridium tips, but my tool didn't touch those.

I wake up for work at 0430-0500 in the morning. Most times I’m already on the road before the masses (or the snow plows in the winter).

Non-drill weekends, I get to sleep in and get real grumpy if that gets interrupted.

I sunk mine to the frame , not sure if I should try to excavate it, call for a rollback with a winch, or just wait it out a month once its fully dried. Bad thing is that puts us down to one vehicle now. And of all 3, its the hhr. The escape is waiting on rear axleshaft/swingarm bearings. If I thought my ford tractor would get it out Id do it but Im doubtful. A 4x4 F150 couldn’t.
