What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Didn’t we spend like 4 hours wheeling on all sorts of trails, only to get to our destination and park next to a Camry?

That was our first year at LBL, IIRC the roads were pretty tame... kinda average gravel roads for my area. I had just concluded 4 years of devising a way to get a front driveshaft to fit in my truck without it interfering with the exhaust right before that trip and then never even locked in the hubs.

I'm somewhat wondering about MOAB and it's reputation anyway. I remember when the new Ranger first came out and a few people had taken a stock Ranger out there. It didn't have any problems that I remember.

Of course, I'm sure there are easier and harder parts of the area, just like anywhere else. So, there is that. That car very well could have gotten stuck and needed towed out right after the video was done.

The only thing about getting a tune, you might be roped in to only being able to use 91 or 93 octane fuel. If the increased cost doesn't bother you, then go for it.

One thing to consider if you still have a warranty. The Ford tune, installed by a dealer, won't void your warranty. If you no longer have a warranty, then it won't matter.
Judging by my dash display after about 100 miles of "tuned" driving, I've seen no decrease in gas mileage, only a very satisfying increase in performance--the result of greater engine efficiency. Livernois gave me 2 tunes, the 91/93 "performance" tune and a "towing" tune. I loaded the performance tune because 93 gas is readily available where i drive (including 93 non-ethanol) but I think the towing tune can run on 87/93 although I haven't tried that tune. Cheers from the Smoky Mountains!

Man, go drive it and enjoy the scenery today. I drove to Bryson City and back yesterday. In my opinion, the fall colors are at their peak right now in the Smokies.
