What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Hit 60,000 miles.

Replaced the gas struts for the lift gate on the cap. I also got a grill insert to fill the gaping hole in the front bumper that leaves the intercooler exposed. That isn’t installed yet.

Replaced the dual 12V outlet panel under the dash with this switch panel with a USB charging port.

I have one. It takes like 10 minutes to install. Takes longer to get the old plugs out than it does to put the insert in with new plugs.

Mine is a different design. It installs from the back of the hole and the lower valence has to be removed. So, apparently a different manufacturer and some sort of copy right must be involved. I’ll have to decide what to do with plug for the block, oil pan, and battery blanket as well before the install since access was through the gaping hole. Project for another day.

Today is removing the knuckles from the clown car to replace the front wheel bearings and do some of the fall maintenance while the bearings cool in the freezer. The bearings press into the knuckle. So the whole thing has to be removed and taken over to the press in the garage. The race that always stick to the hub will have be removed as well. Hopefully, a torch will be enough to make the race expand and drop. If not, I’ll have to find dig out the puller for that.

Sealant that is sealing the bolts in the middle ramp section for the trailer is still curing. So that project is on hold for a bit. There is plenty of things to do. So, it’s not like production has come to a screeching halt.

I need to change the oil but it can wait until tomorrow. Just home from spending all day with my sister, my son and daughter and son-in-law and my wife moving a lot of my mother's stuff to a house literally across the street and two doors down. So the Ranger and my son-in-law's Eff One Fiddy got a workout hauling stuff 200 feet today.
Long story but mom is going to downsize and sell her big house and rent a single-level ranch house cross the street. My knees are tired.

Changed the oil and rotated the tires.
Valvoline Synthetic and Motorcraft filter. Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner in the gas. Turned 60,000 so I did the air filter and cabin air filter a couple days ago.
First time in the 2.5 years I've owned it that I didn't spill any oil from the filter on the ground. (y)

Johnny O's system for rotating tires using two small floor jacks:
Jack up left side of truck. Swap wheels front and rear. Tighten LF wheel, snug LR wheel with 3 lug nuts. We'll get back to that.
Jack up right side of truck, remove wheels. Put RR wheel on RF and tighten, let down jack.
Move RF jack to LR and jack it up.
Remove LR wheel and put on RR.
Put RF wheel on LR.

Mowed and bagged the grass at the house my mom is moving into. It was a little high.

Parking garage in Pittsburgh today. The Stubby antenna was whacking off the beams. Good thing I didn't lift it any more than I did.

Which means itMs getting real close to taking out your blade antenna.

Well tripped 95k and with the AC issue still on my mind it was time to move on. Truck did me well. Thought I'd break 100k but when I got a trade in of $24k for a truck that is worth several thousand less I couldn't refuse.

I'd think about trading mine on another Ranger before it hits 100k if they'd make a Supercab again.
I simply don't need a full back seat and I'd rather have a longer bed.

I'd be super happy with that trade in offer.

The dealer gave me 25k for my slightly bruised 2021 with 40k on it back in April or may.. then they sent it to auction. A dealer back in maine ended up with it and have been trying to sell it for more than my OTD price when I bought it PLUS my 1k$ first year registration lol

They've come down in price a bit... when it first went on their website they wanted like... 41k or something ridiculous 😆

Finally got cool enough to install the rear bumper accessory LED lights.

Note one difficulty: The panel just under the steering column has a double wall, so AFTER I drilled a hole in the panel I found out that the toggle switch "neck" was too short to go through the double-wall. There's only ONE place on that panel that has a single wall, and that's the recessed "Pull" handle. So, that's where the toggle switch ended up. Note in the pic below the TWO holes I drilled in the panel (dumba$$) before I wised up and found the right spot. Anywho.....
