What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

I'm generally not a big fan. Some of them like yours do give you a spot to mount a winch and lights which is awesome.. but for the most part I think the tubing most offerings use is comically large and the whole setup sticks out too far from the front of the truck for my liking. All personal preference.

How much did that run you?
Tray was 300, bull bar 150 winch 400. Winch came from Amazon rest from Stage 3 Motorsports

Not sure about the bull bar yet. What's you alls thoughts?View attachment 89514

Looks good simply because of the tires and tire offset. On a truck that looks more stock, it would look horrible.

A couple questions:
  • How about posting up a photo from the side, to show how far the bull bar sticks out the front?
  • What does the bar bolt too, the front recovery hook area of the frame?

New driver's side low beam bulb. Not terribly difficult.
I would have thought the dash display would have told me it was out. Only noticed when I pulled into work and saw the reflection in the glass.
Luckily I am a lowly STX owner and can buy a new bulb at Walmart for $14 instead of needing headlight insurance for LED's.

It bolts to the winch plate that is bolted to the frame. The bull bar is flimsy and basically cosmetic. I think I'm gonna drop it down and bolt it to the plate mounts like this

Thanks for explaining this.

I just looked on the Westin website and reviewed the Installation Instructions For The Bull Bar and the Installation Instructions For The Winch Tray

The Bull Bar installation looks like a piece of cake, just remove the tow hooks and bolt the bar on.

Holy Schnikeys.. The Winch Tray installations looks pretty complex. How long did it take you to do the installation?

I've also got an XL STX... and we wanted the XL to avoid as much hi-tech shenanigan's as possible.

I've bought decent used cars for less money than the cost to replace the LED headlights and taillights on these trucks. It's insanity how much those parts run.

The winch tray only took a couple hours in the drive way. I was able to do it with out removing the bumper. Just the silver plastic insert. Some of the parts I think are for a 2wd truck. But I did have to get creative to remount skid plate. But it rests on the bottom of the winch tray mounts.

Exactly.
Swear to God one of these days I’m gonna be like Popcorn Sutton on Moonshiners and just drive a Model A pickup. China hits us with an EMP from a balloon I’ll still be rollin.

Drove it to Atlanta today to pick up some RRW rock sliders. Can't wait to get them on.

How do they mount to the truck?
Frame mount. I haven't got down and investigated it yet. But they use existing holes with taco style mounts. They are DOM tubing and heavy haha. I'm gonna have to recruit Randy to help me mount them.

Jack stands can be helpful for that.

I thought about that but if they fall off it will hurt haha. I'm not a big fan of pain. They probably about 60 to 70 lbs each. A extra set of hands to at least balance them on the stands while I bolt them up would be nice.
