What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Temps were relatively warm today so I gave it a wipe down and a quick coat of paste wax inside my cramped garage. At night. Started with the front and pulled it in gradually doing a little at a time. Drive-thru touchless car wash is leaving some sort of filmy junk on the paint.

I might know a guy selling some Tremor struts and shocks if he ever decides to get the 2.5” remote reservoirs I’ve (I mean he’s) been looking at.
I know a guy interested. (I mean if he has any money if and when you do haha)

Hopefully you were able to clean it off. Some times you have to go savage and whip out the Dawn dish soap. But that would require rebuilding the wax layers of protection again since it strips everything off.

It turned out pretty good. Weather is going to turn to crap tomorrow anyway. I always rub it out with a clay bar in the spring anyway.

I replaced the low beam bulbs on the 2019. The right side took a dump. So I changed both and saved the good bulb as a spare. I picked up a spare high beam bulb while I was at the store.

I have a set of LED bulbs I got a year and half ago for my bday. I told myself I would replace them when one goes out.

had to replace the windshield wipers, the one just tore in half & it is/was barely 2 years old .

I replace mine yearly, right after the road salt has torn the crap out of the blade edge. I get a lot of odd looks from that line of thinking but I hate the streaking.

Mine last less than a year due to the sun baking them hard. I only replace them annually. But they don't last that long. Can't believe what they cost these days. I wish for the days when we could just buy the blade inserts for a couple bucks.

Got an Ollie's nearby? I get wipers for $3.99 there. RockAuto still lists some of the refills in 19"+. They also list whole arms at cheap prices. Might have to remember and order some with my next parts order.

I’ve always replaced them when they started to streak, usually like twice a year or so.

I just buy a bunch from rock auto whenever my stash runs low.

A bunch of my offroad friends are running Scrubbies wipers. They say they hold up in any conditions. I can't personally confirm this. But I think they come with some money back warranty.

I'll have to check them out. Trail dust and mud can be just as hard on wipers as road salt.
