Caliper pins, contact points where the pads ride in the caliper bracket, piston face and caliper fingers where they contact the back of the pads, and under the hardware where they sit in the caliper brackets.
It prevents dirt and rust build up so everything moves freely and helps prevent brake noise.
Only use silicone brake grease on the pins. Regular brake grease causes the rubber boots to swell and can cause the pins to hang up. Everything else can use standard brake grease.
