I think it depends a lot on the color of the vehicle. I had extra chrome on my Sport Trac. The Ranger has black trim so I thought black wheels would look better. The silver wheels kinda clashed.

Changed the oil myself for the first time on this truck. A few more steps but not a pain in the ass. It’ll never be a fast job though.

Drove through a foot and a half of water rushing across the road on my way home from work. Flash flooding this afternoon. Pro tip: Don't go through water or mud too fast or too deep or you'll frag the alternator since it hangs way low. I kept it about 10 mph to plow the water out of the way but not splash the alternator.
