I'm stealing this thread idea from another forum, basically trying to start a weekly thread about what you did over the weekend.

On easter Sunday a group of is went wheeling up north and I almost rolled my truck, broke both motor mounts, and had to drive down a mountain without power brakes. It was a great time.

How bout you guys?

wheeling on saturday, dumb people blocked all of the good places to wheel, so we ended up trying to figure out what to do, till we ran out of time...

sunday i went to a buddy's place for turkey dinner

monday i went back wheeling, tried to go to our first place, and got stuck in about 7 feet of snow

My weekend was boring. I didn't roll the truck or break anything but I did install the anti-rattle clips on the front brakes that I failed to get with the new pads.

I also thought about mowing the yard. This was after finding the rear view mirror had fallen off the Thunderbird windshield.

Had burgers and hotdogs at my mom's side, ham and all the trimmings at my dad's side. Worked on my tractor in between... could have been warmer but it was a pretty good weekend.

Cooked enough chicken to feed 600 people on Friday. Spent Saturday wheeling my Navajo and my scaled down Bronco, broke the front driveshaft in the Bronco, did some more wheeling in my Mazda, freaked out a buddy (another member) who was yelling at me to stop trying to climb the hill I was going up because he was sure we were going to roll, shot off a few rounds, drank a *few* rounds, and went to the bar on Sunday. All in all, I went through about $60 worth of gas, $10 in ammo, and $30 in drinks.

damn! i went through 70$ in gas between saturday morning, and sunday morning, then i went wheeling sunday again... i probably burned $120 in gas over the weekend...

Relaxed all weekend.

Went to see some family for Easter.

Next weekend's gonna be packed. Spring clean-up @ a camp my church helps sponsor and I'm driving the truck to haul the set for a theater group I work with on Sunday.

Spent time with family, washed and waxed the Ranger Saturday evening. Beautiful Easter weather here.

Don't really want to talk about it but it involved a jeep. Why is it that when you have the front axle in pieces all over the driveway it starts to snow?. I hate it when it does that.

new full aluminum radiator in the S-blazer (tanks&core both metal!) brought home a '65 8hp kohler engine to rebuild. easter dinner.

Thursday I went to bed right after work (done at 630am) and got up a little before noon to babysit my niece for a few hours, then I proceeded to finish painting my grill and the surround to match the black center of my powerdome hood. Took a few layers of skin off of my thumb separating the two pieces and celebrated with many beers. Somehow managed to get my painting done AND crank the t-bars on the bro-in-laws avalanche AAANND continue enjoying some suds.

Friday I started rebuilding my exhaust since I cut my tailpipes off for the body lift... Didnt get too far before beer got involved and ruined the show haha!

Saturday I relaxed for most of the day before a summer/beach party at a bar a few of my friends work at.. Had a few beers then switched to vodka... (continue on sunday)

Sunday I woke up in the bathroom at my buddies house... head throbbing, back sore and a raging inferno of heartburn that a hurricane wouldnt have been able to douse (damn spicy pickled eggs, I know they're the culprit). Hopped into my slightly worn out lumbar-less drivers seat, drove the 30 minutes home with the sunshine on full blast and a half finished exhaust screaming like a 3 year old... slept ALL day until Easter dinner then slept some more and was rip roarin and ready for work at 930pm. All in all it was a very unproductive weekend haha!

--- on a side note, my exhaust will be finished this afternoon and I normally dont drink this often............. anymore.
