I'm looking to buy new 31 inch tires for my truck and i was just wondering if anyone recamends any particular brand. I was looking at general at2 grabbers because of the price but maybe they are junk?

Thanks

I along with a bunch of other guys I know have had great luck with Cooper Tires. They're priced well and are a quality tire. I've had a set of Coopers on my F-150 since 2004. They have years of tread left on them and they look great.

treadwright retreads......... for real, for the price hard to beat, will be my next set.

retreads, eww! Okay, I shouldn't say that. I have no personal experience with a retread tire, so I'll shut up. Anywho, I ran the General Grabber AT2 on my old '93 and they impressed me. They will go on my new truck in the spring.

I like them because of their ability to perform in bad weather on the roads. They really do well in the snow, and they hold the road very well when its wet. They grip dirt and float on sand fairly well. Spin them fast in sticky mud or the tread will clog up.

i run 31x10.50 Michelin LTX A/T2 love them quiet and smooth on the highway and amazing off road costco has them on sale right now 70 dollars off a set of 4

+1 on the General AT2s I have them on my 05 4x4 Ranger and they do great. I drive a mix of interstate and dirt roads and they handle very well. They also seem to be wearing very well, I can't even notice any tread wear and I have a good amount of miles on em.

um, i'd be careful with retreads... just from what i've heard they seem more likely to fly apart if you're driving over 65 mph. i don't know for sure, but thats reason enough for me to not run retreads

x2!! excellent tires and performance. and no, they have not come apart in over 3 years (and 30,000+ miles) of dd use at speeds over 65 mph!! i drive 60 miles to work and back, most of it on the freeway. that doesn't include several 1600 mile trips to visit the folks. and the AT's are very, very good on the trails. mine have E rated Michelin casings and have performed flawlessly! tread still has at least 75% left and looks excellent. best buy for the money for sure! just my $.02

i have 33x12.5x16.5 cooper tiers on my 92 dodge power ram and ive had them on there since 2001 and 80000 miles on the tires and they still have tread and passed nj inspection i recomend them to everybody

after looking at the grabbers i think ive changed my mind about buying bfg ats. they have what looks to be almost exactly the same tread pattern at about $40 less per tire (30x9.50x15), thats almost like getting the spare for free!
