I do not go off road and I have winter tires for snow. I want to get a good summer/street tire for the months I have no snow. I'd like to see what people are running and what size.

I haven't had much luck finding a summer only tire for my truck. Though that could be because I only started looking and winter tires have been coming out. Tire size I'm looking for is 235/60-16.

Thanks.

If you look for tires in a 225 60 16 there should be a lot bigger selection, because many different cars use that size. Might even be cheaper too. Just an idea.

The overall diameter is a bit smaller with that tire size. The size I'm looking for (depending on brand) will match the overall diameter of my factory size (225/70-15) tire.

The tire I like the most are the Yokohama. I've owned the Yokohama TRZ (on my Mercury) and The Yokohama AVID ST on my Ranger. I currently have Yokohama Touring S on both my vehicles.

The TRZ is available in the size you want and on my car it was a really good tire. It lasted about 5 years and around 58,000 miles. They were replaced because of weather cracking, not tread wear. I don't think the the Touring S is available in the size you want

A friend of mine runs the Hankook Optimo H727 on his Ranger. In fact I think its the same size your looking for. They seem to be really good tires.

Good info. I'll keep those in mind over the winter. I'm hoping to catch a good deal or promotion before spring.

I got yoko trz on my lincoln in that size. Good tire, they hug the road at 110mph and not alot of spin on wet pavement even with the traction comtrol turned off....... Fair amount of snow traction as well.

Paid $120 each mounted an balanced.
