What are the Ranger's chassis codes?

I am looking for the chassis codes for the 1997 ford ranger and the 2000 ford ranger 2wd's are the chassis all the same? 1993-200?

I know my 1997 has a 1 piece frame and my 2000 has a 2 piece frame.

for example, 1994-2000 acura integra is called a DC2.

i don't anything about chassis codes onthe ranger but u can look up th vin# and it will pretty much tell u everything u need to know where and when the truck was manufactured if it is 2 or 4 wheel drive what engine came in it from the factory etc. lmctruck.com should help they have free mag. that come in the mail and they sell anything and everything for ford rangers cheap too. but that is how i learned about my ranger because i thought the 4 banger thats in it wasn't the motor that it camewith being 4 wheel drive but i checked and its the OEM motor.
