what are the parts worth?

hey guys, i have a 1990 ford ranger 2.3 5spd that i was gonna use as a project but my dad wont help me put it back together with the excuse that the motor and trany are shot and i CANNOT find a 2.3 and 5spd trany. and im more into dirt bikes anyway so i decided to sell the truck/part it out i was asking (on craigslist) $800 as a whole or contact for pricing on parts. im wanting to know if 800 is to much (since my dad gave 500 for it in mint condition) (oh and my dad knows i wanna sell it) also i want to know what parts are worth

main things i think are of value are:

1. the cab, fenders, and the rest of the front end, minus a hood. (no rust at all)
2. axles and drive shaft
3. misc. other parts

im hoping for it to sell quick for a good price, iv been trying to sell all my things of value to get the dirtbike i want. its a 2011 kawasaki KX250F and the cheapest i'v found them was 6,199 local dealer wants around 7,500

The whole truck might be worth $1000, if you find someone who is looking for a mint cab. The axles arn't really worth anything, unless they are 4.10 geared, and even then, maybe $75 a pop.

yeah? i had a guy who wanted to buy the whole truck for 50 bucks i was like WTF? WHY WOULD YOU EVEN OFFER 50 BUCKS!?!?!?!?!?! so now i know it's worth 1k, so i think $800 would be fine by me.

I didn't say it was worth 1000, I said someone who its looking for exactly what you have might pay that... I only paid 500 for each of my b2s and they both drove home.

I can find them running and driveable for that!
Part it out? Bumpers $50/each
Bed $150-200, etc. Takes a long time to make any money that way.

I have a RED 1988 Ford Ranger 4X4 on a 3" Body lift with mud tires, 2.9 L fuel injected V6, AUTOMATIC. Good running truck, needs a new fuel pump to start so will need towed or trailered off. Can text pics later this afternoon on request. Any questions feel free to call 753-5267

i wouldnt part it out, just sell the whole thing. parting it will take forever and there's no way you'll sell every little part. just make sure you get at least $500 for it
