Found this on craigslist http://louisville.craigslist.org/pts/2366643672.html
I'm wondering if anyone has some insight on whether it would bolt up to the 89 BII I have, or if its going to be too much trouble to make it work. (If you dont want to click the link, its a reese hitch for an explorer)

I know I'm being lazy and should go measure it, but its about a 30 mile trip from me. Gas here is about 2.8 million dollars a gallon, so I'm trying to avoid wasting a trip.

Thanks in advance :icon_thumby:

The rear of an explorer frame is about 4" wider then your BII. If you want to bolt it on---No it wont fit. If you want to cut it up and weld it back together---Yes it will fit fine.

That is exactly what I needed to know! Thank you sir.
