What are better spark plug wires I can buy?

Bought champion ones a few years back they just don't impress me. Because of my lack of skill I always end up ripping them apart at the sparkplug. Is there somthing better out there with better perfomance and built so guys like me don't have to worry about them falling apart every time we change the plugs?
And my pinging is starting to come back, I think my truck is very fussy with having ignition in premium condition which is another reason I want something better.

I used the Autolites and they have been fine. I think they were around $25 few years ago......

We use these on our race truck, good fit,8.2 mm tough wires. thttp://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/TAY82218.htm

Taylor wires are great. I've never had them on a 4 cylinder though. I haven't had any problems with Motorcraft wires. You can get them pretty cheap at rockauto.com

I got those Beldin Blue silicon ones from napa and I think they are pretty solid and were like 40 bucks maybe?

Are those the ones with the orange boots? I had a set of those and they were really good...until I pulled too hard on the boot...

I have an orange set that I got off a Mustang 2.3...they are good, but I have no idea who made them because there was no name on them...couldn't use the distributor wire because it was too short...

Well The ones with the orange boots were the old napa branded ones I think, I have them on my 84 grey wires with orange boots. The have new ones that are a navyish blue with grey boots now I like them.

why not just start putting dielectric grease on them so they don't stick as much?

I use the Borg Warner Premium Plug Wires, about 50 bucks at O'reillys. They have lifetime warranties so if you break them just return and get a new set.

dielectric grease

I find dielectric grease doesn't make a whole lot of difference. I got a 5 year warranty with my champion plugs and went through a couple sets, if I ruined one I had to change all for a new set is how the warranty works. Tried reparing the ones that ripped apart but found the connection was never very good after.
I should invest in a good spark plug boot puller maybe that might get me some better luck. tried a cheaper one same thing. I have 8 wires in my truck if I had to remove all I guarantee I would rip atleast one apart so I don't mess with them anymore and leave them be.

So far the belden wires from Napa have been great and are really well constructed. Save the box and receipt and if one does break you can get a new set for free.

Years ago I saw a set of wires on a you tube video that were built so tough, they looked like you could could just yank the wire off the spark plug if you wanted and they would be okay.
Also Canadian tire sells a wide variety of Accel wires, They look higher end then stock and I think they are almost the same price even.
One set has super thin wires like 4mm, and advertises bigger isn't always better, other then those oddballs accel are 8.8mm's and also have cool colours aswell. Wish I could return my champions and try these ones out, the colour adds a little bit of a racing look under the hood.
