That look like fuse holders attached to my NEG ground battery cable- the other end goes into the wiring loom- I have 2 of them- The upper one appears to be damaged- NOW can I just splice each of these wires from their loom locations to a good ground? Or do I need to buy this 60 dollar ground cable?

Make sure you run them directly to the negative terminal on the battery. I know for sure at least one of those grounds is for the computer, which is very sensitive to ground issues. Hence the direct path to the battery.

Roger That - I had a rain delay- but gonna get new cables today and re-ground this deal- Now if I can only FIND where this NEG cable attaches to the motor (?) I can't see it yet

In addition to replacing the stock ground cables, do yourself a favor and install a ground octopus.

Use the heaviest size you can work with.

Place 1 leg from battery negative to engine block, 1 leg from engine block to frame, and 1 leg from frame to body at the minimum.

You can put others from engine to body and so forth.

In the back place some from frame to bed.

Over-kill? Yes but will help in the long run.

update- prob solved for now

here is what I finally did- I got a plain NEG cable and attached it to a motor lug (AC bracket) then hard spliced them 3 ground wires and BAM back on the road- so far so good- You know FORDs though right?:icon_rofl:
