I just spent a couple hours relocating the solenoid box for my Warn M8000, while I was at it i figured I would go ahead and tie in the cable I was gonna use for the incab controls since the way i have the box mounted is kind of a pain to open. I had no intention of hooking the new switch up today so i just taped off the other end, then i decided to test the winch to make sure everything was still ok. AND IT WASN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it would run the winch cable out but not in so i whip out the ole' meter and start testing stuff but everything seemed ok so I got really aggravated and cut all the incab wires out to see if that would fix it and NOTHING still so then I pulled the plug on the remote and looked in the end and saw that one of those freaking pins was pushed up so it wouldn't make contact. So now I get to go back into the box and wire up the cab controls again
