Was my birthday today...

Baby backs... red skin potato salad... baked beans.

My wife... bless her none culinary heart... asked me what kind of cake I wanted and she was going to make it for me. I said let's do some simple... yellow layer cake with chocolate butter cream frosting... easy peasy! First problem was she couldn't find chocolate butter cream. So... she bought both chocolate and butter cream. The rest of the story... you simply just can't make up...

Don't judge me. This was just a wild idea.

So, if you warm a flour tortilla, coat it with pizza sauce, add some mozzarella sticks and fold it over... is it an Italian quesadilla or a poor man's tortilla calzone?

Ok. It wasn't bad. But the mozzarella sticks are the wrong way to do it. That's what I had available. With shredded cheese instead, these would be good. As it is, it passes our minimum standard for acceptance in our shop at work. That standard is; "hey. At least it'll make a turd."
