WENT OFFROADING WITH A jeep CLUB

yeah, the antenna wire was right in the way.... you have to be a surgeon with a sawzall not to cut it. lol

i don't even have an antenna, so i'm debating if i should worry about it... i have a nice big file i might use... used it to make the 3" hole big enough to fit the 3"ID ducting through my inner fender... i kind of want a nice tight seal back there, and then fill all the holes, being that it doesn't drain out that side...

man... lookks like you need to ditch those BFG AT's. Not rele doin much for you. otherwise, represent

I used 2" pipe... sounds small, but works good.... no difference in power or gas mileage. you could use a hack saw. i could see the antenna barely through a little tiny hole, its really not that that hard to avoid, you just have to be careful and make a bunch of relief cuts. you can run pipe into the cowl pretty much as far as you want. where mine went in, there is no way water would get sucked into it unless it was over the hood.

oh, and i wasnt stuck because of the tires, lol.... those bfgs are actually A lot better in mud than a lot of people made them out. in those pictures it wasnt the tires fault i was stuck, if i had lockers i wouldve got out of the first one easily, the second picture, the mud was holding my rear bumper up, and there was a huge chunk of something hitting my front diff, lol, if anything more aggressive tires would have just dug me down deeper. im actually picking up a set of used super swampers today, but thats just to go faster through the mud, lol, i really need lockers.

hmmm, might have to give it a shot... may take till spring, the daily high is about -10 here right now, and the snow finally stopped yesterday, it's been snowing for like 3 days straight

as for the need for new tires? yes, if those are the bfg ko's they suck balls in the mud... watch video sequence to see me stuck as ****, i needed to get pulled out by the sport trac at the end of it all, even though it really looks like i've got it

LOL, nice vid! and i hate to say it but ive been in a competition mud bog with these all terrains and made it through! there were 3 trucks that didnt make it, and they all had at least mud terrains! one even had crazy tractor looking tires! not saying they are better than mud tires, but for some reason, ive been through some really really thick stuff and havent got it stuck because of the tires. i would get hung up on the frame or body, but never because of the tires.

I have lockers and BFG A/T's and just in my experience they suck in the mud. They load up quick and don't clear out at all. Just sayin experiences will vary

Pillen like the truck, nice work it looks good. But whats up with all the budget spacer Jeeps? When I think jeep I think TJ with a long arm kit and 35's....ARB F/R lol

LOL, thanks! and actually a couple of those jeeps are pretty capable. that tan colored rubicon has an old man emu lift and and front and rear lockers(rubicon)... the beat up grand cherokee has a 2" buget boost, and just about everyone else is running a 4" rough country. the red jeep is my girl friends and she is running 33's. it good that no one is really crazy built up, cause then i can keep up with them, lol.

WOW! awesome truck.
ive been wantin to lift my ranger. did yours look good with a 4" suspension?

Thanks! never had just a 4" suspension though. i went from a 2" plus some washers and a 3" bodylift, straight to a 6" suspension(4" plus 2" spacers) and 3" body lift. in those pics, it only had the 2+ bodylift and 33x10.50r15s
