I just did a compression check trying to find the constant miss it has well... here it is

cyl.1-125
cyl.2-125
cyl.3-115
cyl.4-115
cyl.5-0
cyl.6-113

:icon_surprised: the plug also is covered with oil, gee I'm guessing the piston. :annoyed:
would there be any other reasons for no compression? like the pushrods have worn down so far they are not hitting the rocker arms or am I being optimistic? :dunno:

thanks for the opinions

also ths is the second fricken motor I have with a dead cylinder :temper:

well on the next day off I'm going to pull off the valve cover and pray its something simple, otherwise I'm going back to my 9 mpg, gross polluter, no power, barely running 87.
that fricken truck just doesn't want to die.

124,000 or 224,000 judging by the way it runs 224,000 but the interior and body makes me think only 124,000 so i don't know for sure :dunno:

I only have the five digit counter excluding the 1/10 mile counter, also the last time the mileage was checked (on the title) it said 93,000 miles but that was 2003 so :dunno:

I'll probably drive it as is until I get the turbo ranger done then I'll switch projects, I have two projects going anyway, and only one spot to work on them, and my 78 F-150 is in that spot lol

haha nice. im doing my truck "pre-runner" style. keep your eyes on craigslist for cheap stuff. haha i got like 600 bux worth of parts for 230 plus gas money thanks to craigslist and race dezert!
