I can't figure out how to resize the pic to get it on here. My wife rolled it it a few days ago and the fire men cut out the front window and then cut the goddang roof off to get her out. she was fine just could get up I guess... Had they just taken here the the window the damage would have only been the passanger door.

Fender flares do wonders to protect the truc on a roll over. It needed a rear quarter befor this from where someone hit it, but other than that the body was perfect. Not a bit of rust on any part of the thing. So I guess its a parts BII now.

Can You swap a 2nd gen ranger bodt to the fram? I just guessing that its not problem with a 1st gen. I have got to have a 4x4 for winter. Live in the back woods and my road dont get plowed.

well its good to hear that she wasnt hurt. sucks to hear that the B2 was totaled. im not positive but if you have a ranger the cab should fit with a little fab work and if the ranger had the 2.9 everything should plug in pretty easy. the bed wont fit without being shortened.

No, B2 and Rangers are different. First and Second gen Rangers are about the same. It's a little bit of fabrication to get the Ranger cab on a B2. And of course, the bed isn't going on because the B2 is very short compared to even the short Rangers.

Hey Will brown county eh? I know alot of people from there. Work there every now and then.

Anyways suck. I Need a new BII then. Maby find a cheap 2x4 body to put on this one or something..

What about putting an 89 BII body on the frame? Different hook ups for all the wires and such? And what is the body different between the 1 and 2nd gen BIIs? I hate the front end of them but the dog house on mine is in perfect shape. Would and 88 dog house on an 89 pritty much look just like an 88? I would love the uo grade to the inside of the truck. Found an 89 in great looking shape for $800 with a buttload of miles. http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/1536162836.html

Says its an 87 but as you can see it isnt.

Yes an 89 would work. If you swap over all the engine harness the only plugs you would need to splice over are the ones for the headlights.

To go from the 89 to an 88 you'll need to change the core support, fenders and hood. Then everything else from the 88 will bolt to the front.

I've got an 89 B2 frame, 87 B2 body, 92 ranger 4.0L, 91 ranger engine harness, and 90 B2 interior.

look i swapped an 88 bII body onto a chevy 3/4 ton frame. it was easy.......sticking with rbv components will be a walk in the park. if you don't hava body lift here's how i did it (by the way i bought this body from a junkyard for $200:
it was easy

and the body mounts are in different places from ranger to broncoII because the broncoII is an suv body (so the frame is sraighter under the back-seats) and also since a bII is much shorter in wheelbase the mounts are in different places. but that is easily fixed, grind off the rivets holding the body mounts to the frame. and then you can move them to the needed places and drill the holes where the rivets were and use grade 8, 1/2" bolts (just as strong, if not stronger than mild steel rivets) or you can weld them on, or if necessary build your own brackets to weld on like i did look and see i built pedestals on the rear to raise the frame up to meet the body, and i built brackets for the middle/front mounts too that i welded on:

Hey thanks! I think thats what I'll try and do. Find a cheap 89 body put it on there then put my 88 doghouse on it to make it look good.

I think that those regular cab cut bed rangers look real good never pass yourself going down the road.I can't find one to show you though.
