well... today i got my truck back from the shop and they put in a new clutch kit and slave. the clutch chatters first taking off and at a stop it grinds going into gear. the clutch peddle pushes in really easily also. im just more or less venting here but iinfo would be appreciated about if theres anything i can do before i flip out at the shop.

Sounds like they didn't get all the air out of the hydraulic system to me.

I agree with Shane, thus my first piece of advice would be to go flip out at the shop.

The chatter should go away as the clutch breaks in.

If they had surfaced the flywheel, it shouldn't chatter. Take it back and at least make them properly bleed the clutch.

I once had a chattering clutch and when I finally got sick of it, I set the e-brake, revved the engine and slipped the clutch for 3 or 4 seconds. That polished off the high spots and mated the clutch to the flywheel. Never had it chatter again after that, but of course I lost a few miles of life on the clutch. Try this at your own risk.

I wouldnt go flip out yet.... Take it back and tell them to fix it right. If its not right when you pick it up, then flip out.

As much as I agree with everyone here about flipping out on them I wouldn't start there. Old adage about more flys with honey than vinegar or something to that sort. If they refuse to accommodate you then ya flip a bitch.

This. Sounds too me like it's only air too (still ridiculous though)

If they were dumb and let the master run dry then yeah bleeding can suck. Don't touch anything, take it back and give them a shot to make it right. Nobody is perfect. If they give you crap or can't fix it then tear'em up a bit. Did they bill you for a flywheel resurface? You should be able to see if it looks machined through the inspection hole. If they didn't I would be asking why because it should have been done.
