Just checked coolant and it was full drove 30mi and well you know the rest

Of coarse it happens just after dropping 4000 on a new car for the wife

Got heads off and 1 is cracked between cyl 5 and 6. Crack is about 2inches long. Funny thing is that it never got hot.

That's how life works duh. Once you spend a bunch of money or do something good for yourself something bad happens. Happened to me all summer. As soon as I would get something fixed, something else would break or we would get a new car and then get in an accident from some other driver that can't pay attention to what's going on around them. Life sucks. Been trying to teach our kids this life lesson but they don't seem to care. They think that as long as they hold their hand out that someone will fill it with what they need. Unfortunately life has other plans and it will be a bitch lol.

Dang it. I guess it just needed that one hot/cold cycle to crack all the way through. At least heads on the 4.0 are relatively easy to replace.

Although just gave me an excuse to rebuild it now ?
It has 206k and I wanted to rebuild it rather then just slapping heads on it
