Weird tail light / break light issue

I'm in the middle of getting my 89 B2 ready to bring to the hunting lease for the season. Yesterday I replaced both tail light housings, both break/turn sockets, both reverse light sockets, and all the bulbs. Passenger side break/tail working fine. Drivers side is giving me fits. Turn signal works fine, break light works when I hit the breaks. When I turn on the parking and headlights, the drivers side break light is on. It's like the breaks are being pressed, but only the drivers side is doing it. Not sure what could be causing this. Any suggestions??

Also, the reverse lights don't work, but I know the problem. The plug that hooks to the transmission is bad. Any suggestions on where to find a pigtail for that plug, or is that gonna be a junk yard item??

Is the brake/turn on that side the same brightness as when it comes on with the headlamps? (it's not dimmer is it? If it is, maybe you might've gotten the bulb filaments reversed when you replaced the socket)

Headlights off, turn signal and break light function like they are supposed to. Headlights on, turn signal functions properly, but break light is constantly on. One side much brighter than the other. No change in that side when the break pedal is pressed.

You wired it wrong.

The ground and one of the other 2 wires are switched... I think its the turn/brake light wire.
