weird ratteling sound

my 96 b2300 makes a weird sound when I start in 1st and second. the ratteling starts when I'm in low rpm just after reallessing the clutch.

Is it the timing belt that is starting to extend? Ive chek the engine will giving it little of gas and notting seems to shakes looks like the noise come from the head.

Well, it could be any number of things...I started mine up the other day and when I reved the engine I heard this rattle...every time I reved...so I got out, looked under the hood for something loose and scratched my head...

Got back in and looked on my dash...there was my front plate sitting on the metal dash and pressed up against the windshield...doH!

Your noise, however, could be similar...like a loose heat shield...something in the glove box...or something loose somewhere else...

Get a friend to help you and use one of those stethescopes to listen around...

well it could be the tranny pilot bearing

it s start at about 1300 id say and stops at 2000. I noticed that it does the sound also when I'm giving more gas that the engine can take.
