Weird front end

I have a 4x4 '85 ranger with a lift kit installed.i only recently got it road worthy.i noticed that the front right wheel skips pretty bad when i go up a steep incline and when i turn to the left slowly.i'm not sure what the problem is.if anyone has an idea,i'd appreciate you thoughts on this.i've been working on my truck since pulling it from a field two plus years ago.i can't give up now.she drives straight like not a things wrong.thanks

My guess would be a bad ball joint or a bad U joint on that side, leaning stronger on the U joint...
