I was driving my '86 yesterday (4x2, longbed, 2.9, auto, power brakes) with the windows down and I noticed that when I apply the brakes, there appears to be a "click" from the rear brakes. It seems to happen every time; the brakes work fine otherwise (besides a small hissing sound that can be heard inside, down by the brake pedal). Should I be concerned?

I haven't; maybe I'll go and get one of those free brake inspections. First I think I'll back up a few times and mash the brakes good and hard; sometimes the self-adjusters get stuck if they work like the ones on my old Mustang.

yeh go ahead an inspect the rear brakes, my old 87 BII made that noise, i took the rear drums off and found on one side had destroyed itself due to spring faliure.
