alrite heres my situation i have a 2000 ford ranger off road i just got new beefer leaf packs and ive i got a pretty mean rake and my question is if i cranked the tbar bolts up whats the whas the max height be four i need new shocks and same for the rear end i dont think there maxed out in the back and its not any higher then 2inchs form stock so any anwsers would be nice

thanks

You should only crank those tbars about 1" to 1.5"... 2" at the max. It'll ruin your front end if you go higher, plus it'll ride like garbage. On my '02 Ranger i cranked my tbars a tad... and added a leaf, and it looks good. I'm running 32's no prob. Also, depending how high you crank your tbars, you might need an alignment.

on my old 98 ranger i cranked the bolts in all the way and got about 3" of lift outta it and i never had a problem with any parts wearing out faster and i never got the truck aligned and tires wore just fine for the 4 years i had it like that. But proably wouldn't hurt to get alignment checked anyway just b/c ya never know.

i have my tbars cranked to the max and got about 3" of lift. i needed an alignment and i also need to get a camber/caster eccentrics kit to fix negative camber.
