Anybody have any info on this. I thought this was the canister fuel filter according to my haynes manual but it's not. I took the can off nothing in there, i would put it back together but the little poppet valve/ check valve o ring is shot. It is a light blue color? it was about half way off so i was going to seat it back and when it touched it it disintegrated. What can i do?

Thanks a bunch
Todd

The one on mine was empty also....the parts stores have a filter that comes with an O-ring for it,the filter is the wrong one but you need the O-ring to put it back together. The check valve was screwed up in mine so I drilled it out carefully. It is not a water separator but once they stopped putting a filter in it they called it an accumulator. The O-ring for the body of it can be a pain to get it to stay in place when you screw the thing back together...use some grease to hold it in place.

Hey thanks, i have the filter kit. so you removed the valve? thats what i was thinking. wanted to make sure its not a flow problem some how.

Todd
ps. this one is very rusted.
