sheesh, I sure am having obstacles along the way w/ the t-belt change. The 3 bolts are off the water pump, but having trouble getting to the hose that connects it. Does the altenator need to come out too to get the waterpump in? The Haynes manual is sparse. thanks for your help, julie

I just did mine a few weeks ago and thought the same thing

I got to it by getting under the Alternator there is two bolts holding this plastic piece that the lower Rad hose connects to. Disconnect the lower hose remove those two screws then pull the piece off the and then you can wiggle the water pump out

replace your thermostat while your there too.... I didn't and now I wish I had.

thank you kossdust! just the info I needed.

one more. This is where the thermastat is right, I'm not quite seeing it? I'll post a pix. thanks again guys.

Can't see pic and it has been a month but it should be like right next to water pump

The thermostat is located on the top of the engine, follow the upper rad. Hose and where its attached the the engine is where you will find your thermostat, its 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing in place, make sure you replace the gasket as well
