Water PUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got done with a water pump change on the 94 3.0, If it last til it needs another one SOMEONE else will do it. Im just glad that it went back together a lot easier than it came apart. Who was the dumb ass that designed the water pump to go behind the A/C and power steering bracket, who ever he was he needs a good swift kick in the ASS. 217,000 miles and it still had the factory pump on it so I cant really complain to much. If I only had a $ for every gallon that has pumped through it over the years.

It doesn't help that you have a motor designed for a FWD, mid sized sedan retrofitted for a RWD truck.

Seriously....especially on a 97 Ford Probe GT. What a pain in the ass that was (even if I loved that lil Mazda V6)

OP, I feel your frustration. I just did the same job! Just a small notch for one bolt would have saved so much work!
