Water Pump Brands..

It looks like I need to replace the water pump on my 89 BII.... Anyone have experience with the Cardone reman pumps? I've gotta go cheap on this rig because my wife says so...

i accidentally bought a valucraft a few years back for my 2.9 and it has held up pretty good, i mean it still works. it actually has motorcraft stamped into the front of it

I bought a Duralast one from autozone a year ago and it still works.

the Cardone reman is in the 22-28 range... I either purchase online or from Napa, O'reiley, or CarQuest... I'm in a small town..

At advanced auto, i compared a reman water pump to a new one. The new one is "improved", so i compared the two side by side and there were better water passage ways on the new one, but the reman was like 30-50$
